Opel plans electric SUV with Leapmotor technology
Production in Zaragoza is envisaged from 2028.
Opel announced an additional electric C-segment SUV on 8 May. Plans combine Leapmotor components with Opel design and production in Spain.
The expected 2028 start is not guaranteed. According to the announcement, the project remains subject to binding agreements and the necessary approvals.
